When playing alongside an ally, it can be quite distressing to find that he's almost conceding defeat when the war has hardly started. What does one do in such a situation?

Dear Anxious,

Clearly your so-called ally is not worthy of your talents. I suggest that you mock him mercilessly until he sees reason. If this doesn't work, your only recourse is to change sides and join your enemies in pounding him into dust. Either way, you must on no account allow him to leave the game until his Last planet has been nuked into a small ball of radioative glass.
