Right above (or below) the maintenance values, it lists the resources mined each turn. This is on the main display for the vehicle (the one that shows up when you select it).
Slynky, there is no difference between mining asteroids, "moons," or planets. How about colonize or uncolonized? I swear, there was a game where I had to build a remote minor in every system and when they first appeared over the planetary shipyard, some had the little blue "mining cart" show up (to show they were mining) and others didn't. What could be the difference?
