I actually had this idea quite some time ago, but I thought it was too stupid or crazy to mention...
What if we did a mod based on Super Smash Bros. Melee? Like in the Fantasy Empires Mod, each ship would represent a character, and like in Adamant, fighters would represent summoned monsters - Pokemon, that is!
All the weapons would be redone so that the Shield Depleter would be replaced with a Fan, the Wave Motion Gun would be replaced with a Super Scope, the Capital Ship Missile would be replaced with a Red Turtle Shell, the Emissive Armor would be replaced with a Metal Cap, etc. And instead of ship hulls we'd have characters - Mario would be average size and speed, Donkey Kong would be bigger and stronger (i.e. more tonnage space to carry items), Samus would get special weapons mounts... now imagine a "fleet" of 50 Bowsers hunting down a mix of Donkey Kongs, Luigis, and Ganondorfs!
