Re: OT: Does anyone know of any Calendar program for the perpetually disorganized?
I run the full spectrum of completely disorganized down to managing my time down to the nearest 10 minutes. I don't like either end of the spectrum. I have tried numerous computer software over the years with varying degrees of success, but I can tell you that the best way that I have found to manage my time/todo's/appointments is with a small (and I do keep it small) stack of 3x5 cards in my back pocket clipped together. As new items come in, I write them down, and as old ones are completed, I either trash them or keep them in a pile for future reference if anything important is written on them; filed by date. Each day, I start a new card, with the date on the top, and carry over any incomplete things from previous days. I have another card with periodic things (meetings, personal todo's like car oil changes, etc.)
I used to think that I could do everything on the computer, but my home and work lifestyle is such that I am not always in front of one. It is surprisingly simple and fast. Especially if you develop your own shorthand system.
Well, that works for me, anyway.
