The thing is I guess, it could have been a lot better but given it was originally written in japanese, translated into english by some expatriot, and then proof read by some japanese guy to make sure the supidity came through clearly, says a lot.
Oh well. I am seriously surprised that Robotech has not been developed into a full blown movie franchise by now. I mean with all the CG ability that we now have, with some decent script writing and some good direction the Robotech serious would make a fine moive series.
Hell get the guy who did the LOTR trillogy to do it. That would be very interesting.
