I'm not sure what your sourses are. The Neo Pagans I have met would nod, understand why you think that, and try to explain that *in general* Paganism is an earth based spiritualty and that Pagans follow the The wheel of the year, the cycle of life and the seasons and that each group has thier own interpretations and beliefs.
They would dissagree with such a sweeping generalazation.
But I am sure that different areas have different deffintions of Pagan. I love variety
