I finaly got through to Comcast, (my cable ISP). First I tried thier email support which gave me a list of 11 things to check on my system like it was my fault.
So then I get in a que to use thier "Online chat" support which is pretty good if you don't mind using IE. The tech took less than 20 seconds to tell me that yes there were sever problems in my area and that technisians were enrout to fix them.
I asked why didn't email support know this?
"There is sometimes a delay in getting the information out to all of the support sites"
Grypin: "Please tell mangament that was a 10 hour delay and they have a very unappy customer. Add that I am pleased with you personaly"
Tech: "I will relay your Messages to mangment and thank you for choosing Comcast"
