Mac, Calvin and Hobbes is my favorite comic, too. I especially like Calvin's father, he's always got a quirky explanation for the way the world works (sometimes I think he's right).
I'm watching plenty of cartoons these days with my daughter (she's four). The best of those is Sagwa, the Chinese Cat. My favorite as a youth was Speed Racer. The Mach 5 was my dream car...
