Thanks, that's not good, not the error I expected!
Could you set the log mode in settings -> application settings to "Debug" and retry?
See where it fails?
And secondly if you have time, reset log mode to normal and enable "Show backstage" and see what happens in the internal browser before the error?
Are you running on Win XP/NT/9x/2000 ?
Firewall? Proxy?
