I will turn 30 this September.
As far as I go I have been playing games for a very long time. My first games came way of the Atari 2600 and Vic 20, and then grew to the school's TRS-80's and Apple computers. I also played various board games and RPG's (Paranoia, Star Frontiers, D&D and AD&D, Powers and Perils, Marvel Super Heroes, Battletech, etc).
I first got into PC Gaming with Battlehawks 1942 and Castle Wolfenstein and Civ. The first PC I ever bought for myself was bought to play games like CivII, Panzer General, and the MOO series.
I have been involed in the gaming industry since I started beta testing in 97 and shortly began writing reviews after that. Then unto The Wargamer for a stint before meeting Tim and helping him out with Shrapnel.
Something you guys might not know is that Andy Stingel from Gone Gold and PvK turned me unto SE:IV first, as well as a few other eMailers. When I got the CD my first thought was "Why isn't a larger game company publishing this" and then I relized that they are all filled with moron's now
