26 for now, wage-slaving as a helpdesk tech.
By this time in my Father's life I was two and my little sister was just recently born. He was getting out of the Military, buying a house, and starting his career in Defense. I had always expected something like that.
Me: college drop-out, long-hair, unwed, bachelor flat with the latest in a long line of interesting roommates, un-promising job like the ones before, another great-time/no-keeper girlfriend. But at least I have bought a house, am not living hand-to-mouth, and I should have at least as long left as I have come so far. That's a long, long time.
