Just curious about whether and how folks use 'em. Given that I'm currently using the sw_emp (Star Wars/Empire) race style (hosted at
Universal Shipyards), I'm tempted to use one as a very large carrier with a repair bay, a tectonic bomb or two, and perhaps massive WMGs, once I've researched all the parts. Oh, and of course, cloaking. If it were accompanied by a mobile shipyard or two (say, CA or BC chassis?), BCs, a couple o' DNs, dedicated (but smaller) carriers and minesweepers/minelayers, it'd be one menacing (but *insanely* expensive, in both tech and parts) fleet.
Just for flavor.
But it'll take many turns to research... *sigh*
(BTW -- I've seen a number of AI planets defended with WPs that had *only* missiles. Missiles can't hit fighters...)
