[God Emperor]

In the Last few games I have played, I ended up in Trade Alliances, Trade and Research Alliances or Partnerships with all of the races, but, a number of them had a "murderous" attitude to me despite giving resources and techs as gifts. What is the story? Why are they so upset?

In the games I was top of the ladder, with more tech, ships, units, planets and systems than any other player. If this is the reason, surely they should be more obsequious rather than "murderous" - particularly as I hadnt gone out of my way to upset anyone - eg I didnt lay claim to any contested systems and tried to avoid building in contested systems.
