Interesting, we are more alike than I thought. I have the first 4 books. I stopped reading when he “off on his frolics”. My favorite was “Nomads of Gor” as you may have picked up from the “Kamchak” referance.

<EDIT:> “where Americans go beaten”, Depends on how you look at the battles of the Civil War or the battles with the Native Americans who used to force us to Circle the Wagons. You could say Americans both won and lost those battles but I wax philosophically.
