Yep, yep, I was just about to post the same thing . Shovel and pick 'keys' would work.
Only problem would be the lock-picking ability. Bashing the 'doors' could be disabled, if that is desired or not, but I am quite sure that lock-picking cannot.
Hmm, that lock-picking goes along with 'enhanced digging' would be a little odd .

PS: Actually it would be good, if there was a setting that would make certain doors 'unpickable'. Not only for this idea, but in some situations you might want to able to create certain door, magic portals, whatever that can exclusively be opened by the apropriate key.
