Klvino: (And everyone else….)

Greetings – I’m Andrew Lonon – Developer of Salvo.

My goal for Salvo is to make the best game that I can – while at the same time taking a slightly different look at the age of sail. The pace will be faster than many previous games, and the scale will be bigger as well. In order to make the best game I can – I am looking foreword to starting the beta so that I can have a community to help me shakeout the best features, as well as find bugs. -sigh-

I don’t know what the optimal number of testers is but it seems to me that there is probably a point of diminishing returns. I understand that Shrapnel has some “old pros” and I have a few first string choices – so the optimal number of slots may fill fairly quickly. Therefore – I don’t think everyone who has expressed an interest will be included in the process. Unless you actually enjoy the frustration of beta testing - this is a good thing - because it means we will get to the bottom of any problems and get thought the beta ASAP.

Still – it can not hurt to ask – so if you are interested in participating in the beta post a note here to let us know.
