Re: A few things I have learned..
Use toxin injectors.
They ignore shield and armour so you only have to inflict 200 to 300 damage to kill a ship.
Use tachyon beams (shield skipping) for quick fighter and satellite kills, as well as quicker anti ship kills.
Always make sure you have more power generation than your weapon banks require.
