Seems like just about every lefty I've known is a griper. Must be something genetic linked to that left-handedness.

So what is the best way to handle the four weapon bank keys?
It seems easy for the destroyer, but the cruiser has the side gun mounts. I am about to buy the cruiser. I have been using different banks for guns and torpedoes.

I keep all the weapons on my cruiser in the same bank. That way, as I'm turning after my head-on attack run, I can still nail the chosen victim with my side-mount Tachyon Cannons.

Does the point defense need a weapon bank assignment to fire?

No. PDC's are automatic fire, just as in SEIV.
