hi all.
with fond memories of star raiders on the atari2600, i eagerly downloaded the demo. but i can only get as far as creating the campaign...it tries to load the sound effects, and crashes with a "floating point division by zero" error. gleaning what info i could off the website, it looks like a problem with my soundcard (an audigy 1). so i reinstalled the latest drivers...but the demo still crashes! my other specs:
win98se
directx 9.0b
amd winxp 1600+ chip
geforce4 ti4200 w/128 (45.23 drivers)
i'm also running norton anti-virus as well...will try running the demo without it loaded, just in case. will post here when i i get results from that attempt at trouble shooting
any help would be much appreciated!
