Now, to everyone else:

Besides, as far as the "accusations"....well, when ppl post only to trash something, then yes, I think that is reflective of a certain type of Online behavior....What has Stavros posted since the demo has been released, only his demands and musts, and that the AI is pathetic...this new guy, only that the ai sucks...nothing more...nothing less...

IF, he is not a troll, i apologize....BUT, look at the Posts. Sure, they are opinions...but you mean to tell me that there is not one good thing that these guys can find in this game? ONLY that the AI sucks, and is pathetic, and that the devs suck at programming a good AI? Tell me in what pc game you have played that the AI was great...

Galciv is the only one that i can really come to think about....and in that one, there was only what, 6 races, and ONLY 1 playable? Brad Wardall did a GREAT job in that game...but Dominions is still a whole lot more complex than that game....hell, it is more complex than I would say ANY game out on the market right now.

Civ's AI? I have been hearing about how ppl abuse that since day one too ( the great Sid Meier even!!)....any rts AI's? again, ppl abuse it, or it cheats....

perhaps the AI isn't perfect...but does that mean that is the ONLY thing you can post about? What about the upgrades to the interface? what about the upgrades to the main map gfx? What about the 3 new nations? What about....I could go on forever really.

But you see, that is all that is being brought up, everytime they post, how the AI sucks...Hell man, the game (the DEMO, not the full Version) has only been out a little more than a day....and ppl are bashing it for the AI....which realy should take more time than 4 hours to truly test...

I am done with the SP vs. MP crap...I know what has been said before, in the newsGroups, and I am not going to go spend my day off from work searching for to only to have it be denied by the ppl that are asking for it.

What really gets me about all of this, is the demands by ppl. there are 17 distinct nations....if IW was to put together a great AI that ppl are demanding, personally, it seems about impossible. They would have to create a unique individual AI for each nation, due to the differences in the nations...Again, I go to galciv, only 5 AI's had to be programmed...and you know what, many ppl complained about those too....Technology is not ready to produce "Terminator" AI...

I have tried to make this post as civil as i could...you CANNOT make demands, customers are not ALWAYS right....customers DO NOT always know what is best....i have worked in retail most all my working life...and I will tell you, customers can ask for the most IMPOSSIBLE, UNTHINKABLE things, in the most DISRESPECTFUL manner....

That is what I have been attempting to address....but everyone wants to jump on the side issue....make suggestions...BUT, customer or not, pre-paid or just looking, fan or no fan, that is all you can do. We did not develop this game, it is what it is. It has come from what it came from. Dominions I lead to Dominions II...we need to face the facts, and understand that the Developers and Publishers are NOT our life slaves, and that we cannot push them around with our demands, no matter how good those demands may seem. No matter how logical those demands may appear.

It is much better for me to ask you for 20 dollars, than to demand 20 dollars....If I demanded 20 dollars, then I would be a thief and a robber...

Those are my points...take them or leave them....they are truth...and if you want to flame me and bash me, I recommend you re-read this post....and truly understand what I am saying....
