I agree. The demo for the first game rocked (A bit too much).
This demo is almost worthless if it's purpose is to attract new players. No instructions, no tutorial, the nation/race that newbies can pick up on the fastest is locked out.

That, along with the basic instructions Sabre Cherry is writing would go a long way to allowing newbies to get into the game before giving up in confusion.
