G'day all,

Someone suggested before that there should be an IRC Channel for players of Space Empires. So. I got a little bored tonight and, with Krell, decided to set the ball rolling.

There is now a channel on Austnet (It has servers in other countries so, don't you worry, I just used Austnet as I'm more familiar with it's services, and Undernet wasn't accepting channel applications at this time). For a complete server list go to "http://www.austnet.org/servers/index.html".

If you need to get an IRC Client (until we find a suitable java client for those of you who are lazy), go to "http://www.mirc.co.uk". And download it. Follow the instructions, connect to an austnet server by typing "/server [server address]" and then type "/join #spaceempires" in the status screen.
