Ah, yes. There's a spell (Earth), "Riches from Beneath" or something, that can help, too.
Oh, and you can tear down adjacent forts, though that's really kind of dumb=)
Gee, I keep thinking of more things! You can also give it to an ally who has a better productivity scale=)
