My 2c on combat replay speed
If you consider someone else's comment of 'killing the game' to be hyperbole, I would provide my evaluation of 'killing my enjoyment of the game'.
This is because, for me, it *is* killing my enjoyment. I never build missile troops because the speed of arrows ( or lack thereof ) drives me up the wall.
I beg the developers, if they are reading this, to at least put in a key that lets you skip the arrow animations during replay. ( I.e. the archers make the arrow noise and then their targets immediately take damage rather than spending 30 seconds torturously drawing a flight of arrows edging their way across the screen step by step )
Sure if you are in a slow moving PBEM it may not be so annoying to see a replay once a day, but please consider the people that try to play it single player and have to put up with continual combats.
