I could not try your new race yet, because I have still my own AI modifications in a long term game trial, but I like your idea to combine two special technologies very much.
May be other combinations like psychic+religious might be even stronger. Think of an allegiance converter in combination with a religious talisman! Do you have projects for further combinations? If yes it would save me the work to do it myself
