The two variants available are KlingRom_v135c and KlingRom_basicv135c.

I prefer to play with KlingRom_v135c because my experience is that the AI does better when it starts off with Point Defence, the filler techs and destroyers (necessary to mount sufficient point defence so that they are not as susceptible to the missile dance).

Missiles can still be effective against the AI but you have to deploy more of them.

PS; As a lot of people prefer the basic game though and dont like their TechAreas files altered, I greated the basic KlingRom set which uses modified Research and ship design (DesignCreation) files.
