Can they be found like other sites? But then again, how does that work?
Blood sites don't nomrally give free blood slaves, but there ARE few that do give. Don' count on them, though, if you want to use blood magic you have to hunt for the slaves. But remember, the sites are worth looking for! Few let a blood mage summon 1 FREE demon or fiend per turn! Only one mage, though, and as he must be entering the province he can do nothing else, but it has no risks and you get excellent fliers.

Blood sites are found as normal sites, by searching the province with a mage with skill in blood. Quite often they cause extra unrest, so you might want to check that if you are interested.

Also, I am playing Pangaia now and liking it, and was wondering whether to experiment with that Pandemonic guy (forget his name, nature 3 and blood 2 or something) -- can he find blood sites? Or just blood slaves? And is there any info on how this blood slaves work? Do you put them in your personal gems stack like jewels?
thanks
The guy you mean is Pandemoniac. He can both hunt for blood slaves and search for magic sites, but not at the same time. After caught, outside battle blood slaves work just as gems. The biggest difference is that caught slaves are in the catchers inventory, press 'Z' to put them to lab.

In battle, blood slaves are around the guy who had the guy instead of staying in his pocket. They have low protection, so they tend to die in missile fire.
