That is one improvement I'd like to see: recovered items into the laboratory instead of being equipped. I ended up with a Bane popping in the Green Eye in my Last game, which was not exactly the best use for it.
(If I could have slaughtered the guy and been sure of getting it out of him and into a place it'd do some good, I would have. The little klepto deserved it!
