I don't know the offical word, but they haven't said they were or wern't going to do any UI changes as of yet.

There is a big thread called the Wishlist that has requested and suggested tweaks to the UI and other 'user friendly' things that may have seemed like a patch thread

IW likes to spring it on you what they fix, change or don't change, maybe sometime in the future we'll have a Patch thread that will keep people up to date. Though I wouldn't hold your breath. At least until Kris and Johan are getting a regular paycheck from game designing that they can devote more time to it than feeding themselves
