Ok for propheting a Black Knight, that what Ulm has closer to a SC, but why wasting 50 gems empowering him Earth-1 ? Just for the added protection ? Even assuming you give him a couple Earth items it doesn't warrant the cost IMHO...
cast invulnerable maybe...for a huge gem cost: 125 earth(well, the poor knight cant equip his horse with earth boots..)
