Actually, you can. All of them have downsides; slots are precious. The Ceremonial Robe eliminates Armor of Souls / Armor of Thorns; the Evoker's Wand eliminates Staves of Elemental Mastery; and so forth. But wands that make casting battlefield attack spells less cumbersome are common in fantasy literature, are they not? |
