This is true. It also allows you double the # of attacks that character currently has (4 attacks for someone normally with 2, 8 for someone normally with 4, etc).
It also gives you +3 Def, +3 Att. It also allows you to cast an additional spell per round.
There is a very easy way to figure out what spells do in combat. There is a pause feature by pressing spacebar. You can find out most of the effects of the game (buff wise) by using this to look at your stats/abilities/etc before and after you cast the spell. The Search Button at the top of the forum can also help you.
So yes, you can have your guy wear a pair of boots and have his HoF ability to do 3 things a turn. But you'll notice that when you script him to do spells, he won't do the first 3. He'll do 2 then he'll either attack, or cast a spell you didn't script, then he'll cast the next 2 scripted spells, then attack or cast a spell you didn't script. [/quote]
Thanks.
I use the spacebar and check out the stats. But I cannot see what effects this has on actions; i.e. I cannot see how many AP are used for spellcasting, or if there is a different way to figure out which AP are used for what when quickened. (And I did search btw.)
So are you saying that double AP means double attacks but 1 extra spell (no matter what the spell is)? I thought some spells took more AP than others.
Noticed already that he casts spells I didnt script (stupid fire spells) when he should be smiting. Hm.
thanks
