Looks like the techarea file didn't have a blank line between the Last techarea and the delimiters at the bottom of the file. I added code to handle this. Take a look and let me know what you think.
The Pirate Mod has a component called Hardened Bulkheads III that threw me for a loop until I noticed that this component acts as Point Defense Cannons. Whew!
