I discovered a bug in Dominions 1, or then a very wonderful feature.
In short: I killed Orokestes the Hero of Arcoschepale and a devil named Orokestes (with magics and magic items the now-dead Orokestes the Eunuch had while alive) appeared in my fortress (with no special message).
I had just given the Soul Contract that should give out devils every turn, but this is something new! Orokestes was killed by some wolves, so it's not a special attack of a cross-bred or anything, and although he had Ritual of Returning on I haven't researched enough for Charm or Helbind Heart. Also, the sneaking army of druid and his vinemen were found on Arcoschepale, where they had apparently been hiding in there for few turns. I had seen the message few turns ago.
What would this have been like in a MP-game!
I got all the magics I didnät have in one big whoop!
I'm eager to see what happens if I ever manage to kill that Manticore Vanheim has in the game: 4 Earth, 5 Astral, 2 Air, and Last time I saw him he cast Immortality and atleast one of the two Astral protections... I attacked Arco because I didn't understand that the monster was the pretender of Vanheim, and had TELEPORTED into my area! I love this game, even if I will abandon it just as quickly as I can get my hands on DomII.
