Have you ever seen lots of spring hawks and swarms attacking a lvl 8 death pretender with 30 death gems?
One casting of bone grinding and 70% of all of them die. The spring hawks route while pretty much every single swarm-bug dies, and don't forget I have pulled off 5 bone grindings in a single battle EVEN when my pretender was in melee combat.
Oh yeah and sauroliches have a great 17 protection. really helps.
But anyway, if you prepare ahead of time for my pretender, there's a chance you could kill it if you have smart mages... Oh shoot I just remembered -7 dominion makes saurolich have like 10 hitpoints or something.
