I would have to disagree... being paralyzed for 3-6 rounds could easily mean the difference between winning and losing a battle. Plus once paralyzed those dispossed spirits can continue to increase the paralyzation from 4 to 7 then 10 and so on.
As Zen was saying the number next to paralyze should be the amount of turns... yet it's not working that way. Hopefully fixed in the next patch
