But Orion seens to enter the game at 1000+exp with 0 kills always. I.e. when he became available, he'll be at the top of the Hall of Fame, automatically knocking out the lowest guy/gal/thing.

And because of his 1000+exp, even if he was killed permanently right away (which seems to be a common occurence in my SP games, guess the AI don't factor in immortality not working in unfriendly domain...), he'll stay in there pretty much the entire game, effectively premanently reducing the number of available slots. The same can be true of some rare Mercs arriving at high Exp.

I am not actually advocating the removal of Mercs in Hall of Fame, even as an option, just that sometimes the situation is rather... err... bizarre (A famous Orion from the past made his grand entrance on the battle field, falls on his face and dies, but we remember him as "famous" from all the stories of his "past deeds" despite the fact that no one alive, save immortals, have really witnessed his exploits in this lifetime)
