Im not sure where you were headed so this might not apply to YOU, but as a general concern the game seems to try and achieve balance without resorting to sameness. I see people "filling the lack" in nations. Their work looks nice and all. Probably worth their time and effort to get to play with the modding stuff. But I wouldnt play with most of them.
The result seems to undo some of the best parts of the game for me. They see a nation with no assassin and fill it, another with no sneaking mage, another with no decent sacred troop. But they end up taking the balancing pros and cons of nations, individual advantages in certain playing styles, and fill up all the cons.
Just my opinion.
The ones that create an entirely new nation I do download and try. In those cases its interesting to see if they try to achieve the same pro and con balance. Creating a nation that compliments a playing style without trying to be everything at once.
