Default Q. about attacking a fortress
I am currently sieging a fortress in a sp game.

Can I attack the castle or do I have to wait until I break through? I have a ton of archers and would like to have them go nuts shooting over the walls.

When I attacked the province I beat a small army and many routed. Did they go to another province or into the fortress?
