I just ran a quick test, where a Slayer equipped with a Rod of the Phoenix tried to assassinate a magicless Sphinx who had a Pendant of Luck. The first attack didn't cause any damage, but all other attacks did harm the Sphinx - yet they caused only minor damage, sometimes as few as 1 point, while the Rod is supposed to deal 18 points of armor-negating damage. Eventually the Slayer autorouted.
So, my questions are:
(1) Is Luck supposed to negate 50% of all magic attacks or to reduce damage by 50%?
(2) Could it be that Luck gives 'Twist Fate' instead vs magic attacks? Or maybe even vs all attacks? It's not so easy to check the real effects of Luck in the VCR, and that glitch might well have existed for a long time.
