All cause a morale check. The morale loss from Panic is lesser but Panic covers a larger area.

Not sure about that one, but I think I've seen squads rout after having suffered casualties or wounds in earlier rounds but not in the current one. Although it might be due to other causes I didn't notice (like spells or auras, etc.).
