old age - burden of time
arrows - seeking arrow
blizzard - murdering winter
birds - call of the winds
Kill the mages that are casting them.
Or dispel the enchantments, and provide your commanders with adequate items - e.g. air shield will protect from seeking arrows, cold resistance from murdering winter (I think), etc.
