The normal Version, all the lakes are connected - this is a huge screwy advantage for the water nations, as they can be far far away, and yet, they can reach almost any area of the map.
The dry Version removes the linkage between the isolated lakes, making (in some people's opinions) a more balanced map.
If we aren't explicitly using Karan-Dry, then we're using regular Karan.
