I just thought I would say that I have tested this and it works *ONLY* for the crystal matrix (NOT for mages who first must cast a "master" spell).
Maybe a fix could be implemented by having the items not really cast a spell, so it wont get channelled, but instead just apply the correct attributes?
Or maybe make the crystal matrix "act" or "cast" itself Last?
