I was looking through the avatars for something that I liked, and found the old miner with a grey beard and a hat. At the ripe old age of 46, I have a grey beard. I also wear an Akubra cowboy hat, so the picture fit me pretty well. So I chose Greybeard. On PBW, someone else already was using Greybeard, so Geo suggested I use Captain Greybeard.
