I enjoy them as long as the polls are either for fun (funny) or are informative. In addition, sometimes the topics are of interest to the game companies and designers and may effect the way they design, market, etc their games. It also sheds light on what other gamers, do, play, react, feel, etc. makes for interesting reading and research.
PS. we do need new and more gremilins
