I think that there are a lot of spells for which there is no resistance. Armor helps against Blade Wind, but a resistance? What would it be? There's no Earth Resistance. Frankly it had never even occurred to me to ask if there was a way to resist that spell.

It gets a little confusing, because the Staffs of Elemental Mastery are described as "provides partial protection against the two elements used in its forging". Easy to figure for three of the elements (cold, fire, air), I'm guessing that the Earth/Air also gives partial poison protection.

But you have a good point when it comes to spells like Magma Bolts and Geyser that one could logically consider to be fire/heat damage. We know there's a resistance for fire, after all. So it's just a question of whether or not it works on those spells.

I'm not sure fire should protect against these. After all, the magma bolt isn't just fire, it's a mass of molten rock/metal hitting at high velocity. Similarly, the geyser is quantity of water hitting the target. Given the very low damage I would hope that fire resistance didn't protect against it.
