Hi there! Just received SE4 Gold and patched everything (including my video drivers) to the current Version, and I'm experiencing a strange graphics problem I'm hoping someone has encountered and fixed in the past:

The screen doesn't seem to "repaint" at certain odd times. Here are two examples of what I suspect is the same problem:

1. On the "victory conditions" (and other similar) screens, activating one of the conditions does not automatically "highlight" the setting control to its right -- however, mousing over the setting *will* end up activating/highlighting it (turning it from gray to green).

2. When loading or unloading cargo, the window for "selecting the load/unload target" (population/units/etc.) does not show up initially. However, if you click on the system map, it then magically appears.

There are probably other symptoms of this that I just haven't noticed yet.

I'm using a Dell Inspiron 5150 laptop, and have tried it in multiple resolutions and in both 32-bit and 16-bit depth, and the same thing happens.
