As I mentioned, I sent him 2 emails. I got read receipts and that was it.
As to me playing his empire (or joining them), he's a better player than me so there would also be a weakness there (not to mention the weird aspect of Ratings). If I had my wish for a replacement, it would be the "wild" Alneyan (who fits Mark's playing style the best) but, well, that would be even more weird
