Since in a simultaneous game all the "work" is being done by the host, I'm not sure how effective a trainer would be at cheating if it was being used by one of the players (if the _host_ is cheating then all bets are off, of course).
If it does work, though, perhaps Aaron could add a sanity check to the host to keep an eye on player statistics and see if there're any sudden inexplicable changes since the previous turn? Since the host is the one responsible for processing events, I would imagine that any changes to the game's state that it didn't perform itself would be "illegal." Someone let me know if I'm misinterpreting things, I've never actually played a multiplayer simultaneous game before and I'm not too familiar with the mechanics.
